It’s hard to believe that in just a few days we will be saying goodbye to everyone in 2019 and will return in a new decade!
It has been a wonderful week of Winter Festivities. Last week was the Annual school-wide Carol Concert at the Christchurch Cathedral downtown.
Ms. Rees and Ines led a ginger bread decorating activity with the intention of decorating our Christmas Tree for the final House Challenge of the year – all the girls were so creative with the challenge and the cookies turned out great!
And the tree’s have added a beautiful festive touch to the Sun Center stairwell…
Following a wonderful Bolton Chapel Sunday night, we had a Semi Formal Holiday themed dinner as a full community. Everyone enjoyed getting dressed up and attending a fancier than normal meal together. It was a beautiful event with fantastic food!
Dinner was followed by a dance in the Sun Center commons…
Sarah Y. was the DJ for the dance and she did a fantastic job! Many of our Timmis Tigers hit the dance floor to celebrate the holiday season. Following the dance, the Commons transformed into the Bolton/Timmis gift exchange party. Everyone received a thoughtful gift and an array of sweet treats were consumed from boxes of chocolates to homemade cupcakes decorated that afternoon by a team of Timmis sisters.
